Sometimes you want to have an online test or survey that calculates a score(s) based on the respondent's input. We have NOT yet found any commercial software that allows you to do this. So we have developed our own Diagnostic Tests Management, Analyses and Reporting system.

QuizReporter Diagnostic Tests Prototype Demo

Our prototype demo diagnostic tests system was built using PHP and MySQL. It has the following features:

• Registration: this is available, although it is not part of our demo.
• Authentication: username and passwords can be checked against a users database table specifically created for the tests, or can be checked against any other existing users table.
• Calculations: values can be assigned to each test item and appropriate calculations made to determine unique dimension and total scores.  
• Database storage: all item data and calculated scores are stored to a database table; these can be used for real-time reporting, or exported for analysis, research and reporting purposes.
• Feedback: scores are calculated in real time and are reported at the end of the test in both numerical and graphic formats.
• Prescriptions: based on diagnostic test results, recommendations can be made as to appropriate follow-up actions, or remediation, if necessary. These could include links to appropriate e-Learning courses.
